I finally found M&G for less than $20 (yeah, only $5 less but it's the principle of the thing) so, Weezie, I'm movin' on up.

Yesterday (while having a day off from work) I FINALLY went into my game.  It's been a while.

Why so long?  Quite frankly I'm kind of afraid of it.  Afraid it just won't work right and I'll get all excited to play it and then be denied.  Dumb, I know, but not unfounded given the history of the new machine.

Ok, so what's this about?  Right after I posted that whiney post about "boo hoo, the new computer is making my hair turn gray", I tried the game again and it loaded without a hitch.

Honestly, this new computer is giving me NOTHING but problems.  So, as of this writing, the new computer works fine (I'm using it right now to post this) but it won't launch sims 2 (even after disabling the launcher and deleting the .cache ( Read more... )
